It was another youthful and dynamic day in the history of Don Bosco Chinthanaloka. A well-organized “Don Bosco Mega Volleyball tournament” was held on 24th Feb 2018 to honour St. John Bosco. We began the tournament with short prayer service and hymn to Don Bosco. There were more than ten teams registered for the tournament but atlast for our surprise only eight teams turned up for the tournament, namely Don Bosco Dungalpitya youth center, Don Bosco Pre Novitiate, Don Bosco Dankotuwa aspirants, Don Bosco Spikers form Kotadeniyawa , Don Bosco Shock waves from Kotadeniyawa, Don Bosco Past pupils. We started our tournament with prayer service. There were qualifier, semifinal, and final matches, Don Bosco Dungalpitya won the winners cup and Don Bosco Dankotuwa won the runners cup respectively. The chief Guest for this tournament was Mr. Vikramasingha, the inspector of police form Kotadeniyawa town with his short message to the young volleyball players gave away the prices for the winners. Finally Fr. Susith the Principal of the institute felicitated the official referees of the match with handsome of money for their contribution to the tournament.
