Don Bosco Institute of Philosophy and Humanities commenced its new academic year 2016-17 on 01st September 2016. Prior to the Inaugural ceremony, a well animated Holy Eucharist of the Holy Spirit was presided over by Fr. Joseph Almeida, SDB the Provincial. During the Inauguration, an inspiring Key note address was given by the Professor Karunathilaka from the University of Kaleniya. The event was graced by the presence of the Provincial, Vice-Provincial, Members of the Teaching Faculty, some Religious of our vicinity and the students. The release of Chinthanaloka: The Journal of Philosophy and Education, the official release of the Chinthanaloka website: www.donboscochinthanaloka.org and reception of the Institute’s Associate status from the Salesian Pontifical University of Rome are the remarkable events of the inaugural ceremony.
