In the current academic year the education tour was organized to visit Anuradhapura, the ancient heritage city of Sri Lanka and an eco-friendly hotel. We visited the Forest Rock Garden Restaurant, which is built in the forest. The visit was a real feast for the eyes as the restaurant is constructed without destroying the natural settings of the forest. As it was planned, we dedicated the whole evening to visit the different locations of the ancient heritage city Anuradhapura. Under the guidance of a young and energetic tourist guide, we had a great exposure to learn the uniqueness of this city. We would like to register here the warm hospitality extended by the Don Bosco community of Nochchiyagama.
